St Agnes Youth Group

As most Brother Knights know, the future of our order lies in the youth of our parishes. It is with this very simple thought in mind that the St Agnes Knights of Columbus have, for many years, been working side by side with the Parish Youth Director and Brother Knight, Robert Massey, to connect with our youth from Middle School to High School and beyond. The idea is that by showing the youth how much we truly care about them and want to help them come closer to Christ, they will one day want to give back in a similar way when they are grown and eligible to be a Knight or Columbiette themselves

The projects that the Knights have a direct tie in with the Youth Group include : Kickoff Concert, Basketball Shootout, Soccer Challenge, Spelling Bee, Trunk or Treat, Vacation Bible School, Altar Server Awards, Boy Scout Awards and Cub Scout Pinewood Derby, among others.

We have several Knights who are Safe Environment trained so that we are always compliant when working with our youth and we are always looking for more Knights to get involved with these programs and helping to serve our youth. Many of our brother Knights have talked about their memories of the CYO at their parishes growing up run by the Knights, and we do our best to pay back for those memories.
